Security Policy We know that you care how information about you is used - rest assured, when you shop with us, your credit card and personal information will be treated with the highest standards of safety, security and confidentiality.
Secure Shopping When you place an order we offer the use of a secure server. We encrypt your details, in particular your credit card information, before you send it to us, meaning that ONLY the receiver of the information (i.e. PROTX / Barclays Merchant Services clearing system) can read this information. To do this we use the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption method (when in use you will see the padlock symbol in your browser window) which is the recognized standard for secure transactions.
Micom will never request information that is excessive for our purpose, and we try, with your help, to keep any information we hold about you up to date and accurate. Any information we store that is no longer relevant will be deleted after a reasonable length of time.
